Earlier this week, let loose the Pacific Ring of Fire – earthquake generating zone and a band of active volcanoes, bordering the Pacific Ocean. There have been just two natural disasters – on the Samoan archipelago devastated by the tsunami, but on the island of Sumatra was a severe earthquake. Two of these sites are from each other by thousands of miles, but the accident occurred are closely interrelated and are of the same nature as the destructive element, which in 2004 led to the deaths of the tsunami and earthquakes of about 230,000 people in Asia and Africa.
